As part of our cooperation with Brest University Hospital, and in connection with Pr Philippe DOUEK, one of our cardiovascular referring specialists (HCL), we are forwarding, via this email, their initiative concerning the study of contrast agent usage.
The purpose of the questionnaire is to gain an overall, nationwide picture of how our profession uses iodinated contrast agents, depending on the most common examination protocols in routine practice and on scanner type. At the end of the questionnaire, you have the option to add comments and remarks if you wish.
To answer the questionnaire more quickly, we recommend gathering beforehand the concentration (in mg/mL), volume (in mL) and injection flow rate (in mL/s) of the contrast agent you use most often for each of the following examination protocols:
1. CAP + Brain ("oncology" protocol)
2. Cerebral and supra-aortic trunk CT angiography
3. Coronary CT angiography
4. Thoracic CT angiography ("pulmonary embolism" protocol)
5. CT angiography of the aorta and lower limbs ("PAD" protocol)
6. Body CT scan
7. CT angiography of the aorta with cardiac gating ("aortic dissection" protocol)
