In medical imaging, hypnosis is notably offered for the following examinations:
- radiological exams for children, adapted to their age to reduce their fear
- MRI or PET scans for patients who are claustrophobic or anxious about the machine
- interventional procedures to reduce any unpleasant sensations caused by invasive procedures.
TeleDiag is hosting a webinar on hypnosis in the age of artificial intelligence. This webinar will take place on June 22 from 7 pm to 7:45 pm.
It will be hosted by 3 radiologists, all of whom are hypnotherapists.
Program:
- Experience feedback on the use of medical hypnosis exercises for interventional radiology procedures: a practical demonstration illustrated on video by Dr Julien BORNE, radiologist and founding TeleDiag member
- An illustrated talk by Dr Bruno SUAREZ, radiologist and TeleDiag member, lecturer in Neuroscience and head of the Paris Inter-University Diploma in Hypnosis
- Moderator: Dr Jean Pierre MAGIS, radiologist and TeleDiag member
