M2V : The dynamic report developed ​​with three radiologists from Lyon

In this quarter’s issue of Technologies et Innovations Hospitalières, a french magazine orientated toward IT subjects in hospital environment ( p.64 No. 18 ) .

Radiologists working at the clinique du Parc : Olivier Fantino, Julien Borne et Bertrand Bordet, all of them committed toward the TeleConsult France network worked alongside System X (a French editor and integrator of solutions for medical imaging ) to develop M2V : a software designed to produce, transmit and save animated images. This is the first solution so far to allow a DICOM dynamic audio-video medical report.

“With M2V, the correspondent receives animated and guided medical images: a real revolution.There are many applications in endoscopy, ultrasound obstetrics scans, ophthalmology and particularly adapted for the preparation of a medical procedure. “

This tool allows to see, hear and understand real-time diagnosis issued by the radiologist, making it an educational tool evolved and therefore lays the foundation of tomorrow’s imaging reports.
