Strengthening the CMGE

To support the network’s steady growth (over 100 new radiologists have joined us since January 2023), we are also strengthening our CMGE (Medical Governance and Ethics Committee).

After Pr Maxime RONOT, who joined us before the summer, we are pleased to welcome Professor Nicolas MENJOT DE CHAMPFLEUR.

His expertise in ENT imaging and neuroradiology will help support the growing volumes handled in these areas and in the corresponding round-the-clock emergency pathways.

This is a good opportunity to highlight how essential this body is within TeleDiag, and how important it is for members (radiologists and correspondents) to be able to call on a community of experts around their activities.

The role of the CMGE is multi-faceted, and includes:

  • Ensuring the quality and ethical compliance (as defined by the National Council of the Order of Physicians) of the services provided,
  • Ensuring quality control of interpretations (random double reading) in line with the objectives and current assessment grid of our Quality Assurance Plan (PAQ),
  • Being available to provide expert opinions to our members and correspondents on site,
  • Fostering balanced public/private cooperation that puts the hospital at the heart of the network’s commitment,
  • Ensuring the overall consistency of practice and defining the general rules of activity,
  • Approving the expansion of the network,
  • Providing peer mediation in the event of a dispute
